China has changed the world, in terms of manufacturing. You wake up one morning and decide to become an automotive clutch manufacturer. Clutch discs and clutch covers made offshore (China) are made to look like the original, genuine product. Materials used are inferior and there's no quality contol.That's why the clutch disc below costs the clutch distibutor between $5 and $10. They seem to favor copying Exedy clutch components. They may look like an Exedy product, but that's the only similarity. Exedy makes top quality clutch covers and clutch discs that are supplied to original automobile manufacturers.
